This Privacy Policy explains what information ZenBot ("the Service", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
• Delta Exchange API credentials: your API key and secret, which you provide so the Service can place trades on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption before being stored.
• Subscription and payment information: handled by our payment processor (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or full payment details ourselves — that data is held by the payment processor directly.
• Bot activity data: trading signals, actions taken, and position status generated by the Service while operating your account, so it can be shown to you on your dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the trading bot on your behalf, using your provided credentials.
• To manage your account, subscription status, and billing.
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service (e.g. service notices, trade notifications if enabled).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Protect Your Information

• Your API credentials are encrypted at rest using symmetric encryption; the encryption key is managed separately from the encrypted data.
• All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored or logged in plain text.
• We recommend you provide API keys scoped to trading only, with withdrawal permissions disabled, as an additional layer of protection independent of anything we do on our end.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and trading activity data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ZenBot:

• Delta Exchange — where your trades are actually executed, using your own account.
• Razorpay — for processing subscription payments.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data you provide directly to them.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also revoke or rotate your Delta Exchange API keys independently, at any time, directly from your Delta account — this does not require our involvement.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
